Footloose began by collecting new and gently used dance and ballet shoes to donate to local ballet and dance studios in the New Jersey area.
However, Footloose has reached out internationally and now supports community dance projects and aspiring dancers all over the world
Footloose was inspired by Becca’s passion to dance. Like its movie namesake, Footloose, the story of overcoming restrictions to dance, is a charity designed to enable aspiring dancers to study dance.
Making Dreams Come True One Step At A Time.
Footloose donates shoes to a variety of organizations, including The Boys and Girls Club of America, Newark, NJ who partners with the NJ Performing Arts Center and Alvin Ailey to provide dance instruction to under-privileged children in Newark.
Recently Footloosa has donated dance shoes to Soles4Souls, which supplies shoes to remote areas in need around the world.
We are thrilled to announce that Footloose has chosen to support our ballet workshops in The Gambia, West Africa with a donation of ballet shoes and pumps.
